نقلت وسائل إعلام رسمية عن كبير المفاوضين الإيرانيين محمد باقر قاليباف قوله الأحد إن بلاده لن تقبل بأي اتفاق لإنهاء الحرب مع الولايات المتحدة ما لم يضمن حقوق الشعب الإيراني.

وأضاف بعد أدائه اليمين مع إعادة اختياره رئيسا لمجلس الشوري الإسلامي "لا ثقة في أقوال العدو ووعوده. معيارنا الوحيد هو تحقيق نتائج ملموسة قبل أن نفي بالتزاماتنا في المقابل".

وأكّد التلفزيون الإيراني الرسمي السبت أن مذكرة التفاهم التي نوقشت بين واشنطن وطهران تنص على الإفراج في غضون 60 يوما عن 12 مليار دولار من الأصول الإيرانية المجمدة، مشيرا إلى أنه ارتكز إلى نسخة غير رسمية من النص.
