قالت المفوضية الأوروبية، الخميس، إن سوق وقود الطائرات في الاتحاد الأوروبي قد تشهد شحا أكبر في المعروض إذا لم يتحسن الوضع في مضيق هرمز في غضون أسابيع.

وأصدرت إدارة الطاقة التابعة للمفوضية الأوروبية بيانا محدثا اليوم الخميس عقب أحدث اجتماعات مجموعات التنسيق الخاصة بالنفط والغاز.

وذكر البيان "تشير مجموعة تنسيق النفط إلى أن إغلاق مضيق هرمز يؤثر على النفط الخام وجميع المنتجات البترولية الرئيسية، وأن جميع دول الاتحاد الأوروبي تتأثر بهذه الأوضاع. حتى الآن، يشهد الاتحاد الأوروبي تأثيرات سعرية، دون أي انقطاعات فعلية في الإمدادات على مستوى المستهلك".

وأضاف "لكن إذا لم يتحسن الوضع في الأسابيع المقبلة، فمن المتوقع أن تشهد الأسواق معروضا أقل، وخاصة بالنسبة لوقود الطائرات".
