أكد جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني والرئيس اللبناني العماد جوزاف عون، خلال اتصال هاتفي، الاثنين، ضرورة دعم جهود خفض التصعيد في المنطقة.

وأكد جلالة الملك دعم الأردن الثابت للبنان وجهوده في الحفاظ على سيادته وأمنه، وضرورة وقف الاعتداءات الإسرائيلية على أراضيه.

بدوره، أعرب الرئيس عون عن تقديره لمواقف الأردن، بقيادة جلالة الملك، الداعمة للبنان وشعبه.
