أكدت وزارة الدفاع الروسية الأحد استخدام صواريخ "أوريشنيك" المتوسطة المدى وذات القدرات النووية لاستهداف أوكرانيا ليل السبت الأحد، مشددة على أن الهجوم اقتصر على أهداف عسكرية.

وقالت الوزارة في بيان: "ردا على الهجمات الأوكرانية الإرهابية على بنى تحتية مدنية داخل الأراضي الروسية، وجهت القوات المسلحة لروسيا الاتحادية ضربة واسعة باستخدام صواريخ ’أوريشنيك’ البالستية، وصواريخ ’إسكندر’ البالستية الجوية، وصواريخ ’كينجال’ فرط الصوتية والبالستية الجوية، وصواريخ كروز من طراز ’تسيركون’"، إضافة إلى مسيّرات.

وكانت السلطات الأوكرانية قد أعلنت في وقت سابق أن الهجوم الروسي الواسع فجر الأحد أسفر عن مقتل 4 أشخاص.
