ضمن احتفالات المملكة بعيد الاستقلال، أقام الاتحاد الأردني للريشة الطائرة بطولة الزوجي المختلط للمستويين المتقدم والمتوسط بمشاركة كبيرة من اللاعبين واللاعبات الذين تنافسوا بكل قوة للظفر بالمراكز الاولى والتي كانت شاهدة عليها صالة مؤتة بمدينة الحسين برعاية د. نور الحديد وبحضور رئيس الاتحاد منهل حجرات وأعضاء الاتحاد.

وحصل بهاء الشنيك ورزان القطب على لقب بطولة الزوجي المختلط، للمستوى المتقدم وجاء ثانيا نايف مناصرة وماريا ابو عرة، وثالثاً مكرر قصي زيدون الظواهرة ولميس الخطيب، عزالدين ابو عرة ووسام حمودة.

وكما تُوج اسماعيل المقوسي وغزل الجبور بلقب المستوي المتوسط، وجاء ثانياً أواب ابو أحمد وشذى برغوث، وثالثاً مكرر كريم اللوزي ولورا الخطيب واحمد النقيز وهيا شاهين.

وقامت د. نور الحديد، ورئيس الاتحاد منهل حجرات بتتويج اصحاب المراكز الثلاثة الأولى في الفئتين.
