أكّد التلفزيون الرسمي، إنّ كبير المفاوضين الإيرانيين رئيس مجلس الشورى الإسلامي محمد باقر قاليباف أبلغ قائد الجيش الباكستاني عاصم منير خلال اجتماع في طهران السبت بأن إيران لن تتنازل عن حقوق أمتها وبلدها.

وتوعد قاليباف، برد "ساحق" في حال عاودت واشنطن الحرب.

وقال إن "قواتنا المسلحة أعادت بناء نفسها خلال فترة وقف إطلاق النار، بطريقة أنه في حال ارتكب (الرئيس الأميركي دونالد) ترامب حماقة وعاود الحرب، سيكون الأمر ساحقا أكثر ومريرا أكثر للولايات المتحدة من اليوم الأول" للهجوم الذي أطلقته واشنطن وإسرائيل في شباط..

وأتى بيان قاليباف عقب استقباله المشير عاصم منير، قائد جيش باكستان التي تقود الوساطة بين إيران والولايات المتحدة، وساهمت في توصلهما إلى هدنة بدأ تطبيقها اعتبارا من 8 نيسان.
