قال الناطق الإعلامي باسم مديرية الأمن العام إنّ العاملين في وحدة مكافحة الجرائم الإلكترونية تابعوا معلومات وردت وصفحات عرض من خلالها مجهولون معدات إلكترونية للبيع أو للإيجار على الطّلّاب في محافظة إربد.

وأكّد الناطق الإعلامي أنّه من خلال التحقيقات وجمع المعلومات بكافة الطرق الفنّية والتحقيقية تم تحديد هوية أربعة أشخاص تورطوا في إنشاء تلك الصغحات وإدارتها وأُلقي القبض عليهم جميعاً، وضُبط بحوزتهم معدات إلكترونية تُستخدم في عمليات الغش وأحيلت القضية للقضاء.
