دانت مصر بشدة محاولة استهداف أراضي المملكة العربية السعودية الشقيقة باستخدام 3 طائرات مسيرة.

وأكدت مصر تضامنها الكامل مع السعودية وموقفها الثابت والداعم في مواجهة أية تهديدات، معربة عن دعمها لما تتخذه المملكة من تدابير وإجراءات لحماية سيادتها وصون أمن مواطنيها والمقيمين على أراضيها.

وتشدد مصر على الالتزام الراسخ بأمن دول الخليج الشقيقة باعتباره ركيزة أساسية للأمن القومي المصري وامن واستقرار المنطقة، محذرة من أن هذه الانتهاكات السافرة للقانون الدولي تزيد من تعقيد المشهد الإقليمي الراهن وتعرقل مساعي التهدئة.
