أعلنت وزارة الدفاع الإماراتية، الأحد، أن الدفاعات الجوية تعاملت مع 3 طائرات مسيّرة دخلت أجواء الدولة من جهة الحدود الغربية، مشيرة إلى إسقاط اثنتين منها، فيما أصابت الثالثة مولدا كهربائيا خارج المحيط الداخلي لمحطة براكة للطاقة النووية في منطقة الظفرة.

وأكدت الوزارة أن التحقيقات جارية لمعرفة مصدر الهجوم، على أن يتم الإعلان عن المستجدات بعد انتهاء التحقيقات.

وشددت وزارة الدفاع على جاهزيتها للتعامل مع أي تهديدات تستهدف أمن الدولة واستقرارها، مؤكدة التصدي بحزم لكل ما من شأنه المساس بسيادة الإمارات ومقدراتها الوطنية.
