قال مكتب أبو ظبي الإعلامي إن الجهات المختصة تعاملت مع حريق اندلع في مولد كهربائي خارج المحيط الداخلي لمحطة براكة للطاقة النووية في منطقة الظفرة، ناجم عن استهداف بطائرة مسيّرة، دون تسجيل أي إصابات أو تأثير على مستويات السلامة الإشعاعية.

وأضاف أن الجهات المعنية اتخذت جميع الإجراءات الاحترازية، على أن يتم الإعلان عن أي مستجدات لاحقا.

وأكدت الهيئة الاتحادية للرقابة النووية أن الحريق لم يؤثر على سلامة المحطة أو جاهزية أنظمتها الأساسية، مشيرة إلى أن جميع الوحدات تعمل بشكل طبيعي.

ودعت الجهات المختصة الجمهور إلى عدم تداول الشائعات، واستقاء المعلومات من المصادر الرسمية.
