توج فريق الحسين إربد بلقب كأس الأردن لكرة القدم، بعد فوزه على الرمثا بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، في المباراة النهائية التي أقيمت مساء السبت على ستاد عمّان الدولي في مدينة الحسين للشباب.

وسجل أهداف الحسين إربد كل من رزق بني هاني ويوسف أبو جلبوش "صيصا" وعبيدة النمارنة، ليقودوا فريقهم إلى منصة التتويج وإنهاء الموسم بإحراز اللقب الثاني محليا هذا الموسم بعد التتويج بلقب الدوري.

وشهدت المباراة حضورا جماهيريا لافتا وأجواء تنافسية قوية بين الفريقين، اللذين دخلا اللقاء بطموحات كبيرة لتحقيق اللقب، بعدما بلغ الرمثا النهائي إثر تجاوزه الفيصلي في نصف النهائي، فيما تأهل الحسين إربد بعد فوزه على الوحدات.

وفرض الحسين إربد أفضليته خلال مجريات اللقاء، ونجح في استثمار الفرص التي سنحت له، ليحسم المواجهة ويتوج بطلا لكأس الأردن.
