قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الخميس، إن نظيره الصيني شي جينبينغ عرض المساعدة في إعادة فتح مضيق هرمز وتعهد عدم إرسال معدات عسكرية لمساعدة إيران في حربها مع الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل.

وصرّح ترامب لقناة فوكس نيوز، بعد لقاء مع شي في بكين، "قال إنه لن يقدم معدات عسكرية... لقد شدد على ذلك".

وأضاف "إنه يرغب في رؤية مضيق هرمز مفتوحا، وقال إذا كان بإمكاني تقديم أي مساعدة على الإطلاق، فأنا أرغب في المساعدة+".
