قتل 5 جنود على الأقل و7 مسلحين في اشتباكات بإقليم بلوشستان المضطرب في جنوب غرب باكستان، حسبما أفاد مسؤولون الخميس.

وانفجرت عبوة ناسفة بدائية الصنع قرب قافلة لعناصر من قوة حرس الحدود شبه العسكرية وأعقب ذلك اشتباك مع مسلحين، وفق المسؤولين.

وقال مسؤول كبير "قُتل خمسة جنود وأُصيب آخر بجروح خطرة".

وجاء في بيان للمكتب الإعلامي للجيش أنه "خلال العملية، رصدت القوة مجموعة من الإرهابيين واشتبكت معهم. وخلال تبادل إطلاق النار قُتل سبعة إرهابيين".
