قال الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب، الثلاثاء، إنه سيجري "حديثا مطولا" مع نظيره الصيني شي جين بينغ بشأن الملف الإيراني والتطورات المرتبطة بالحرب على إيران.

وأضاف ترامب أنه لا يعتقد أن هناك حاجة لمساعدة من الرئيس الصيني في التعامل مع الملف الإيراني، في إشارة إلى الموقف الأميركي من مجريات التصعيد.

وأشار إلى أن هناك الكثير لمناقشته مع الرئيس الصيني، قائلا: "لن أقول إن إيران واحدة من هذه الموضوعات".

وتابع: "إما أن تفعل إيران الشيء الصحيح أو سننهي المهمة".

وجاءت تصريحات ترامب خلال حديثه للصحافة قبل مغادرته البيت الأبيض متوجهاً إلى قاعدة أندروز الجوية المشتركة في طريقه إلى بكين.
