أدانت الجامعة العربية "التسلل غير القانوني والعدائي لعناصر من الحرس الثوري الإيراني إلى جزيرة بوبيان الكويتية"، معتبرة ذلك انتهاكاً لسيادة وأمن دولة الكويت وخرقاً للقانون الدولي وقرارات مجلس الأمن.

وبحسب بيان للجامعة العربية اليوم الثلاثاء أكد امينها العام أحمد أبو الغيط أن "الحادثة تمثل تصعيداً خطيراً وتهديداً للاستقرار الإقليمي"، مشدداً على "رفض التصعيد الإيراني ضد عدد من الدول الخليجية خلال الأيام الأخيرة"، ومطالباً بوقف جميع الأعمال العدائية ضد الدول العربية.
