استقرت أسعار الذهب الثلاثاء وسط تقييم المستثمرين للتطورات بشأن الصراع في الشرق الأوسط وتوقعات أسعار الفائدة قبل صدور بيانات التضخم الأميركية.

وبقي الذهب في المعاملات الفورية عند 4732.89 دولارا للأوقية (الأونصة) بحلول الساعة 0246 بتوقيت غرينتش.

وارتفعت العقود الآجلة الأميركية للذهب تسليم حزيران 0.3% إلى 4742.40 دولارا.

وبالنسبة للمعادن النفيسة الأخرى، استقرت الفضة في المعاملات الفورية عند 86.08 دولارا للأوقية، في حين انخفض البلاتين 1.6% إلى 2098.25 دولارا وتراجع البلاديوم 1% إلى 1494 دولارا.

وقال ترامب الاثنين إن وقف إطلاق النار مع إيران "على وشك الانهيار"، بعد أن أوضح رد طهران على اقتراح أميركي لإنهاء الحرب أن الجانبين لا يزالان متباعدين بشأن عدد من القضايا.
