قال رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية القطري الشيخ محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني إنه بحث هاتفيا مع رئيس الوزراء الباكستاني شهباز شريف علاقات التعاون بين البلدين وتطورات الأوضاع في المنطقة.

وأضاف، وفق بيان، أن الاتصال تناول جهود الوساطة التي تقودها باكستان لخفض التصعيد، مشيدا بدور إسلام أباد والأطراف المعنية في التوصل إلى وقف إطلاق النار بين الولايات المتحدة وإيران.

وأكد آل ثاني دعم قطر لجهود الوساطة الهادفة إلى إنهاء الأزمة بالطرق السلمية، مشددا على أهمية تجاوب جميع الأطراف لدفع المفاوضات نحو اتفاق شامل يعزز الاستقرار في المنطقة.
