قالت وزارة الخارجية الأميركية، فجر الأحد، إن الوزير ماركو روبيو بحث مع رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية القطري محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني سبل تعزيز التعاون الأمني، مؤكدة دعم واشنطن للدفاع القطري وأهمية التنسيق الوثيق لردع التهديدات وتعزيز الاستقرار في الشرق الأوسط.

وأفاد موقع "أكسيوس" بأن روبيو والمبعوث الأميركي ستيف ويتكوف التقيا مع رئيس الوزراء القطري في ميامي، في إطار الجهود الرامية إلى التوصل لاتفاق لإنهاء الحرب في إيران.
