مندوبا عن جلالة الملك عبدﷲ الثاني، التقى سمو الأمير الحسين بن عبدﷲ الثاني ولي العهد في قصر الحسينية، الخميس، المفوضة الأوروبية لشؤون منطقة المتوسط دوبرافكا شويتسه.

وأعرب سموه عن تقديره للشراكة الأردنية الأوروبية في مختلف المجالات، لا سيما الأمنية والاقتصادية، مؤكدا أهمية جهود الاتحاد الأوروبي في تحقيق الاستقرار الإقليمي.

وتطرق اللقاء إلى مؤتمر الاستثمار الأردني الأوروبي المقرر عقده خلال العام الحالي، والذي يهدف للبناء على اتفاقية الشراكة الاستراتيجية والشاملة بين الأردن والاتحاد الأوروبي وتعميق التعاون في مجالات حيوية.

وحضر اللقاء وزيرة التخطيط والتعاون الدولي زينة طوقان، ومدير مكتب سمو ولي العهد، الدكتور زيد البقاعين.
