ذكرت وسائل إعلام إيرانية نقلا عن السلطات المحلية في منطقة هرمزجان أن دويا قويا سُمع في جزيرة قشم جنوب إيران نجم عن اعتراض الدفاعات الجوية طائرات مسيرة صغيرة وطائرات استطلاع، مؤكدة عدم وقوع أي اصطدام أو أضرار أو انفجار.

وشهدت الأسابيع القليلة الماضية عدة عمليات اعتراض لطائرات مسيرة من قبل الدفاعات الجوية الإيرانية، لا سيما فوق طهران، على الرغم من وقف إطلاق النار مع الولايات المتحدة.
