أعلنت وزارة الخارجية الكورية الجنوبية الثلاثاء أن السلطات ستجري تحقيقا في سبب الحريق الذي اندلع في سفينة تشغلها شركة كورية جنوبية في مضيق هرمز، وذلك بعد سحب السفينة إلى ميناء قريب.

وأضافت الوزارة في بيان "سيتسنى تحديد السبب الدقيق للحادث بعد سحب السفينة وتقييم الأضرار التي لحقت بها".

وتعرضت السفينة الاثنين في مضيق هرمز لانفجار أعقبه اندلاع حريق، وفق ما أفادت وزارة الخارجية في كوريا الجنوبية، من دون أن تشير إلى سقوط ضحايا على متنها.
