أحبطت المنطقة العسكرية الجنوبية، الاثنين، محاولة تهريب كمية من المواد المخدرة بواسطة طائرة مسيّرة على واجهتها الغربية، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الأجهزة الأمنية العسكرية وإدارة مكافحة المخدرات.

وجرى تطبيق قواعد الاشتباك بعد رصدها من قِبل قوات حرس الحدود وإسقاطها داخل الأراضي الأردنية، وتحويل المضبوطات للجهات المختصة.
