قالت هيئة عمليات التجارة البحرية البريطانية إن مستوى التهديد الأمني البحري في مضيق هرمز لا يزال حرجا، بسبب استمرار العمليات العسكرية في المنطقة.

وأضافت الهيئة أن الولايات المتحدة أنشأت منطقة أمنية معززة لدعم عمليات العبور في مضيق هرمز.

وتابعت "على السفن التي تختار عبور مضيق هرمز النظر في اتخاذ مسار عبر المياه الإقليمية العُمانية".

وأردفت تقول "نظرا لحجم الحركة البحرية المتوقع يُنصح بالتنسيق مع السلطات العُمانية للحفاظ على سلامة الملاحة".
