حذر مسؤول إيراني كبير الاثنين، من أن طهران ستعتبر أي محاولة أميركية للتدخل في مضيق هرمز بمثابة انتهاك لوقف إطلاق النار، وذلك في أعقاب إعلان الرئيس دونالد ترامب عن عملية لمرافقة السفن العالقة في الممر المائي الاستراتيجي.

وأعلن إبراهيم عزيزي، رئيس لجنة الأمن القومي والسياسة الخارجية في مجلس الشورى الإيراني، على منصة أكس، أن "أي تدخل أميركي في النظام البحري الجديد لمضيق هرمز سيعتبر انتهاكا لوقف إطلاق النار".
