قال رئيس الوزراء جعفر حسان، إن القطاع الصحي في محافظة إربد يشهد تطورا مع افتتاح مستشفى الأميرة بسمة الجديد، مؤكدا العمل "بالسرعة الممكنة" على إنشاء مركز لعلاج السرطان في المستشفى، على غرار مركز سميح دروزة في مستشفى البشير.

وأضاف أن الحكومة ستعمل على ربط المستشفى بالطريق الدائري، إلى جانب تأهيل المبنى القديم وتحويله إلى عيادات وفق أعلى المعايير، بما يسهم في تحسين الخدمات الصحية المقدمة للمواطنين.
