أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الجمعة تشديد العقوبات المفروضة على كوبا، معتبرا أن الجزيرة "ما زالت تشكّل تهديدا استثنائيا" للأمن القومي للولايات المتحدة.

العقوبات الجديدة تستهدف مصارف أجنبية تتعامل مع الحكومة الكوبية وتفرض قيودا على الهجرة، ووردت في مرسوم رئاسي نشره الموقع الإلكتروني للبيت الأبيض.
