أعلن الرئيس دونالد ترامب الجمعة أنه سيرفع الرسوم الجمركية الأميركية على السيارات والشاحنات التي مصدرها الاتحاد الأوروبي الأسبوع المقبل، متهما التكتل بعدم الالتزام باتفاق تجاري سابق.

وكتب ترامب على منصته تروث سوشال: "بناء على عدم التزام الاتحاد الأوروبي باتفاق التجارة المتفق عليه بالكامل، سأرفع الأسبوع المقبل الرسوم الجمركية المفروضة على سيارات وشاحنات الاتحاد الأوروبي المستوردة إلى الولايات المتحدة. وسترفع الرسوم إلى 25%".
