امتنع البيت الأبيض الجمعة عن التعليق على اقتراح جديد للمفاوضات قدمته إيران، مكتفيا بالقول إن "المحادثات لا تزال جارية".

وقالت نائبة المتحدثة باسم البيت الأبيض آنا كيلي، في بيان تلقته وكالة فرانس برس "لا نُفصح عن تفاصيل المحادثات الخاصة. لقد أوضح الرئيس دونالد ترامب أنه ينبغي ألا تملك إيران أسلحة نووية مطلقا، والمفاوضات مستمرة لضمان الأمن القومي للولايات المتحدة على المديين القريب والبعيد".

وأفادت وكالة الأنباء الإيرانية الرسمية (إرنا) بأن "الجمهورية الإسلامية أرسلت نص مقترحها الأخير إلى باكستان، الوسيط في المحادثات مع الولايات المتحدة، مساء الخميس"، من دون تقديم مزيد من التفاصيل.
