أدى عشرات آلاف المصلين صلاة الجمعة في المسجد الأقصى المبارك/ الحرم القدسي الشريف، وسط إجراءات قوات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي عند الحواجز العسكرية وشوارع المدينة ومحيط البلدة القديمة والمسجد.

وأفادت وسائل إعلام فلسطينية، بأن قوات الاحتلال انتشرت في شوارع مدينة القدس، ونصبت السواتر الحديدية عند بوابات البلدة القديمة والمسجد الأقصى، وأوقفت الشبان وفحصت هوياتهم، واحتجزت بعضهم، وأجبرت آخرين على مغادرة المكان ومنعتهم من الوصول للمسجد الأقصى.
