غوتيريش: إغلاق مضيق هرمز يخنق الاقتصاد العالمي

أعرب الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة أنطونيو غوتيريش، الخميس، عن قلقه إزاء "خنق" الاقتصاد العالمي بسبب شلل مضيق هرمز الحيوي خصوصا لتجارة المحروقات والأسمدة.

وصرّح غوتيريش للصحافيين "أشعر بقلق بالغ إزاء تقييد حقوق وحريات الملاحة في منطقة مضيق هرمز، الأمر الذي يعيق توزيع النفط والغاز والأسمدة وغيرها من المواد الخام الحيوية... ويخنق الاقتصاد العالمي".

وأضاف محذّرا "كما هو الحال في أي نزاع، تدفع البشرية جمعاء الثمن، حتى لو جنى قلة أرباحا طائلة. وسيستمر الشعور بالمعاناة لفترة طويلة قادمة"، داعيا "جميع الأطراف" إلى السماح للسفن بالمرور.
