قال رئيس الوكالة الدولية للطاقة فاتح بيرول الخميس إن العالم يواجه "تحديا كبيرا في مجال الطاقة والاقتصاد" في ظل ارتفاع أسعار النفط بفعل الحرب في الشرق الأوسط.

وأضاف بيرول في اجتماع رفيع المستوى حول التحول في مجال الطاقة عُقد في مقر الوكالة في باريس أن "العالم يواجه أكبر أزمة طاقة في التاريخ"، مشيرا إلى أن أسعار النفط "تشكّل ضغطا كبيرا على الكثير من الدول".
