قالت كندا الأربعاء إن أعضاء الحرس الثوري الإيراني "لا مكان لهم" على أراضيها، بعدما غادر وفد إيران إلى مؤتمر الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم (فيفا) البلاد بسبب "إهانة" تعرض لها في قسم الهجرة بمطار تورنتو.

وأوردت وسائل إعلام إيرانية أن الوفد الإيراني "عاد إلى تركيا على متن أول رحلة بسبب السلوك غير اللائق لموظفي الهجرة في المطار والإهانة التي لحقت بأحد أكثر أجهزة القوات المسلحة الإيرانية شرفا".

وقالت وزارة الهجرة واللاجئين والمواطنة الكندية إنها لا تستطيع التعليق على حالات محددة بسبب الخصوصية، لكنها أضافت أن "مسؤولي الحرس الثوري غير مسموح لهم بدخول كندا".
