يلتقي فريقا الحسين والجزيرة، عند الساعة السابعة من مساء يوم غد الخميس، على استاد الحسن في اربد في مباراة ربع نهائي بطولة كأس الأردن لكرة القدم.

وأنهى الفريقان تحضيراتهما لخوض المباراة، التي يتأهل الفائز فيها لملاقاة فريق الوحدات يوم 12 الشهر المقبل في مباراة نصف النهائي.

وتأهل الحسين لربع النهائي بعد الفوز على فريق صما بنتيجة 10-1 في دور الـ 32، وتجاوز الكرمل في ثمن النهائي بسداسية نظيفة، فيما فاز الجزيرة على نظيره الطرة بدور الـ 32 بنتيجة 5-0، وتغلب على شباب العقبة بثنائية نظيفة في دور الـ 16.

وكان فريقا الفيصلي والرمثا تأهلا للدور نصف النهائي من البطولة.
