حظرت وزارة الصناعة والتجارة والتموين بيع واستهلاك وتداول مشروبات الطاقة لمن هم دون سن 18 عاما.

وألزمت الوزارة، في تعميمها، المحال التجارية والسوبر ماركت والمولات بوضع ملصق على ثلاجات العرض وأماكن عرض مشروبات الطاقة، يتضمن عبارة باللغة العربية: (يحظر بيع واستهلاك وتداول مشروبات الطاقة لمن هم دون سن الثامنة عشرة).

كما ألزمت المنشآت التجارية بفصل منتجات مشروبات الطاقة عن العصائر والمشروبات الأخرى في أماكن العرض.
