نعى رئيس الوزراء الدكتور جعفر حسان، وزير التربية والتعليم ووزير التعليم العالي الأسبق الدكتور خالد العمري، الذي انتقل إلى رحمة الله تعالى اليوم الأحد.

وأعرب رئيس الوزراء عن أصدق مشاعر التعزية والمواساة لذوي الفقيد، سائلا الله تعالى أن يتغمده بواسع رحماته ورضوانه.

وتولى الفقيد منصب وزير التربية والتعليم ووزير التعليم العالي خلال عامي 1993 و 1994.

كما عمل المرحوم العمري رئيسا لأكثر من جامعة وهو حاصل على وسام الكوكب الأردني من الدرجة الأولى ووسام التربية الممتاز.
