صدر قرار بتعيين عطوفة الأستاذ الدكتور طارق لويس مقطش مديراً لصندوق دعم البحث العلمي والابتكار، التابع للمجلس الأعلى للعلوم والتكنولوجيا.

ويُعد الأستاذ الدكتور مقطش من الكفاءات الأكاديمية المتميزة، حيث يمتلك خبرة واسعة في إدارة البحث العلمي، وشغل عدداً من المواقع القيادية في مؤسسات أكاديمية ووطنية، وأسهم في تطوير التشريعات الناظمة للبحث العلمي، وتوجيهه نحو خدمة الأولويات الوطنية وتعزيز التنمية الاقتصادية.

ويُشكل صندوق دعم البحث العلمي والابتكار إحدى الأدوات الوطنية الرئيسة لتمويل المشاريع البحثية والابتكارية، بما يسهم في دعم الباحثين والمؤسسات الأكاديمية، وتعزيز إنتاج ونقل المعرفة، ومواءمتها مع محركات رؤية التحديث الاقتصادي.
