واشنطن: استبعاد تمديد إعفاءات النفط الإيراني والروسي

قال وزير الخزانة الأميركي سكوت بيسنت في مقابلة مع وكالة أسوشيتد برس الجمعة إن من المستبعد تجديد الإعفاءات الأميركية للنفط الإيراني والروسي.

وذكر بيسنت الشهر الماضي أن الإعفاء الخاص بالنفط الإيراني، الذي أصدرته وزارة الخزانة في 20 آذار، سمح بوصول نحو 140 مليون برميل من النفط إلى الأسواق العالمية وساعد في تخفيف الضغط على إمدادات الطاقة خلال الحرب.

وجاء الإعفاء في إطار جهود الإدارة الأميركية لكبح أسعار الطاقة العالمية التي ارتفعت بشكل حاد خلال الحرب الأميركية الإسرائيلية مع إيران.

وانتقد مشرعون أميركيون من الحزبين الديمقراطي والجمهوري الإدارة، قائلين إن الإعفاءات من العقوبات من شأنها أن تدعم اقتصاد إيران وسط حربها مع الولايات المتحدة، وكذلك اقتصاد روسيا وسط حربها مع أوكرانيا.
