قال وزير الحرب الأميركي بيت هيغسيث، الجمعة، إن إيران لديها فرصة لعقد "صفقة جيدة" مع الولايات المتحدة.

وأشار هيغسيث خلال مؤتمر صحفي مشترك مع رئيس هيئة الأركان المشتركة الأميركية إلى أن البحرية الأميركية أعادت 34 سفينة من مضيق هرمز حتى الآن.

وأكد أن أي محاولات من جانب إيران لزرع المزيد من الألغام ستشكل انتهاكا لوقف إطلاق النار.

من جانبه قال رئيس هيئة الأركان المشتركة الأميركية الجنرال دان كين إن الولايات المتحدة ستواصل عمليات اعتراض السفن الإيرانية في المحيطين الهادي والهندي.
