تأهل فريق الوحدات إلى الدور نصف النهائي من بطولة كأس الأردن لكرة القدم، بعد فوزه على فريق السلط بثلاثة أهداف دون مقابل، في اللقاء الذي جمعهما مساء اليوم الثلاثاء على ستاد عمان الدولي، ضمن منافسات الدور ربع النهائي.

وافتتح الوحدات التسجيل عن طريق اللاعب مهند سمرين في الدقيقة 21، قبل أن يعود اللاعب نفسه ويعزز النتيجة بالهدف الثاني في الدقيقة 31، مستفيدا من خطأ لحارس مرمى السلط، وأضاف اللاعب بنجامين أكور الهدف الثالث في الدقيقة 36، ليؤكد تفوق فريقه وينهي المباراة بثلاثية نظيفة.

وبهذا الفوز، ضمن الوحدات تأهله إلى الدور نصف النهائي من البطولة، بانتظار الفائز من مواجهة فريقي الحسين إربد والجزيرة.
