قرر مجلس الوزراء، الأحد، الموافقة على الأسباب الموجبة لمشروع نظام معدل لنظام التنظيم الإداري لهيئة تنظيم قطاع الاتصالات لسنة 2026م؛ تمهيداً لإرساله إلى ديوان التشريع والرأي لاستكمال إجراءات إصداره حسب الأصول.

ويهدف مشروع النظام الى تغطية حجم المهام وتنوعها في ضوء اتساع نطاق الإشراف للإدارة العليا في هيئة تنظيم قطاع الاتصالات وتمكين الهيئة من تحقيق فعالية أكبر في تقديم الخدمات وتحسينها ومواكبة التطور التكنولوجي والتحول الرقمي والاستجابة للتحديات والتهديدات الحديثة على الشبكات.

ويأتي القرار ضمن التَّشريعات المتعلِّقة بتحديث القطاع العام وتطوير عمل المؤسَّسات.
