أكد وزراء مالية ومحافظو البنوك المركزية لدول مجموعة السبع الخميس، على ضرورة الحد من تكلفة نزاع طويل الأمد في الشرق الأوسط على الاقتصاد العالمي، داعين إلى العمل لإحراز تقدم نحو سلام دائم في المنطقة.

وقالوا في بيان عقب اجتماع عقد في واشنطن برئاسة فرنسا "هناك إجماع تام على الحاجة الملحة للحد من تكلفة نزاع طويل الأمد على الاقتصاد العالمي"، مشددين على "ضرورة التحرك نحو سلام دائم".
