رحب البرلمان العربي بإعلان الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب التوصل إلى اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار في الجمهورية اللبنانية لمدة عشرة أيام، معتبرًا هذه الخطوة تطورًا إيجابيًا يسهم في تهدئة الأوضاع ووقف معاناة الشعب اللبناني نتيجة العدوان الذي قام به كيان الاحتلال في الساحة اللبنانية خلال الفترة الماضية.

وأكد البرلمان العربي، أن نجاح هذا الاتفاق يتطلب التزامًا كاملًا بوقف إطلاق النار ووقف كافة الأعمال العدائية من جانب كيان الاحتلال، بما يضمن حماية المدنيين وصون أمن واستقرار لبنان. وشدد رئيس البرلمان العربي، على موقفه الداعم لوحدة لبنان وبسط سيادته وسلطته الوطنية وسيطرته على كامل أراضيه.

ودعا البرلمان العربي المجتمع الدولي، إلى تحمل مسؤولياته في تثبيت وقف إطلاق النار وضمان استمراريته والبناء عليه لوقف دائم لعدم جر المنطقة لدوامة من العنف.
