أُصيب شخص بجروح خطيرة في شمال إسرائيل بنيران مصدرها لبنان، قبل أقل من ساعتين من سريان وقف النار، وفق جهاز الإسعاف الإسرائيلي.

وجاء في بيان لـ"نجمة داوود الحمراء"، جهاز الإسعاف الإسرائيلي، أن طواقمه تتولى في منطقة كرمئيل "تقديم العالج لرجل يبلغ نحو 25 عاما في حال خطرة أصيب على ما يبدو بشظايا (إثر) عملية اعتراض". وكانت فُعّلت صفارات الإنذار في المنطقة للتحذير من صواريخ.

الخميس أعلن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب أن رئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتانياهو والرئيس اللبناني جوزاف عون وافقا على وقف لإطلاق النار مدته عشرة أيام اعتبارا من الساعة 21,00 ت غ. وأكد نتانياهو وعون الموافقة على الهدنة المؤقتة بعد أكثر من شهر من الحرب المفتوحة بين الجيش الإسرائيلي وحزب الله الإسلامية اللبنانية، الذي تطالب إسرائيل بنزع سلاحه.
