أعلن البيت الابيض الأربعاء أن الولايات المتحدة تجري مناقشات في شأن إجراء جولة مفاوضات ثانية مع إيران في باكستان، وأنها متفائلة بإمكان التوصل إلى اتفاق.

وقالت الناطقة باسم الرئاسة الأميركية كارولاين ليفيت لوسائل الإعلام "هذه المناقشات تُجرى (...) ونحن نشعر بالارتياح حيال آفاق التوصل إلى اتفاق".

واضافت أن "من المرجح جدا" أن تُعقَد أية جولة أخرى من المحادثات في إسلام آباد.
