أفادت وكالة أسوشيتد برس نقلا عن دبلوماسي من دولة وسيطة، بأن طهران وواشنطن اتفقتا بالفعل على عقد جولة جديدة من المحادثات.

ونقلت الوكالة عن مسؤولين أميركيين قولهم إن جولة جديدة من المفاوضات بين الجانبين قد تعقد يوم الخميس، في وقت لا تزال فيه المناقشات جارية بشأن ترتيباتها.

وأشار المسؤولون إلى أن جنيف تعد من الخيارات المطروحة لاستضافة المحادثات، إلى جانب إسلام آباد، مع عدم حسم مكان انعقاد الجولة بشكل نهائي حتى الآن.
