قال مسؤول عسكري إسرائيلي الاثنين إنه سيتم تحقيق السيطرة العملياتية الكاملة على بلدة بنت جبيل بجنوب لبنان خلال أيام، مما يحد من قدرة مقاتلي حزب الله المدعوم من إيران على شن هجمات على شمال إسرائيل انطلاقا من هذه المنطقة.

وأضاف المسؤول "لم يتبق سوى عدد قليل من عناصر حزب الله في منطقة بنت جبيل".

وقال إن جيش الاحتلال "قضى على عناصر من حزب الله أثناء خروجهم من مستشفى في بنت جبيل، وعثر أيضا على العديد من منصات إطلاق الصواريخ والأسلحة".
