ترامب ينتقد بابا الفاتيكان ويصفه بأنه ضعيف في مواجهة الجريمة

شن الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب هجوما لاذعا على البابا ليو، واصفا إياه بأنه "ضعيف" في التعامل مع الجريمة و"سيء" في السياسة الخارجية، وذلك بعد أن انتقد بابا الفاتيكان سياسات ترامب الخارجية وسياسات الهجرة.

وكتب ترامب في منشور مطول على موقع تروث سوشال "البابا ليو ضعيف في التعامل مع الجريمة وسيء في السياسة الخارجية".

وجه البابا ليو، المعروف بحرصه الشديد في اختيار كلماته، انتقادات صريحة للحرب الأميركية-الإسرائيلية على إيران التي بدأت في 28 شباط.

ووصف البابا تهديد ترامب هذا الشهر بتدمير الحضارة الإيرانية بأنه "غير مقبول". كما دعا إلى "تفكير عميق" حول الطريقة التي يعامل بها المهاجرون في الولايات المتحدة في ظل إدارة ترامب.

وكتب ترامب في منشوره "على ليو أن يجمع شتات نفسه كبابا"، ثم قال للصحفيين في وقت لاحق إنه ليس "من كبار المعجبين" بالبابا.
