يحتفل المسيحيون في الأردن، الأحد، بعيد الفصح المجيد، وبدأ الاحتفال بإقامة الصلوات في مختلف كنائس المملكة تبعه اللقاءات العائلية.

ويعدّ عيد الفصح من أهم الأعياد المسيحيّة، حيث أقيمت الصلوات في مختلف أنحاء الكنائس ليلة سبت النور وصباح اليوم الأحد.

وكان المسيحيون في الأردن توجهوا الأحد الماضي إلى كنائسهم، للاحتفال بعيد أحد الشعانين، وفيه يتم إحياء ذكرى دخول السيد المسيح إلى مدينة القدس، وذلك قبل أسبوع واحد من الاحتفال بعيد الفصح المجيد وانتهاء زمن الصوم.
