أعلنت إدارة السير في مديرية الأمن العام، تسجيل تحسن نسبي في مستوى السلامة المرورية خلال الربع الأول من عام 2026 مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من عام 2025.

وأشارت إدارة السير الأحد، إلى انخفاض أعداد الوفيات لكل 10 آلاف مركبة بنسبة 21.8% خلال الربع الأول من العام الحالي، مقارنة بالفترة ذاتها من العام الماضي.

ولفتت إلى انخفاض أعداد الإصابات (البسيطة، المتوسطة، البليغة) لكل 10 آلاف مركبة بنسبة 10.7% خلال الفترة نفسها، ما يعكس تحسنا في مستوى الأمان على الطرق.

وعزت إدارة السير هذا التحسن إلى الأثر الإيجابي للإجراءات التنظيمية والرقابية والتوعوية، إلى جانب تحسن سلوكيات مستخدمي الطريق، لا سيما فيما يتعلق بالالتزام بالسرعات القانونية والانتباه أثناء القيادة.
