شارك نجوم المنتخب الوطني لكرة القدم إحسان حداد ويزن النعيمات وعلي علوان في حملة ترويجية لمدينة البترا، ضمن الجهود التي تنفذها سلطة إقليم البترا التنموي السياحي بالتعاون مع هيئة تنشيط السياحة، وتزامنًا مع المشاركة التاريخية المرتقبة في كأس العالم.

واستقبل رئيس مجلس مفوضي السلطة م. عدنان السواعير، بحضور أعضاء مجلس المفوضين، لاعبي المنتخب، مؤكدًا أهمية توظيف النجوم الرياضيين كسفراء للترويج للأردن عمومًا والبترا خصوصًا، لما يتمتعون به من حضور جماهيري واسع وتأثير إيجابي، مشيرًا إلى حرص السلطة على تعزيز الشراكات الوطنية لفتح آفاق جديدة لاستقطاب السياح ودعم القطاع السياحي.

من جهتهم، أعرب اللاعبون عن اعتزازهم بالمشاركة في هذه الحملة وزيارة البترا، مؤكدين استعدادهم لدعم المبادرات الترويجية التي تسهم في إبراز صورة الأردن الحضارية وتعزيز حضوره دوليًا.
